Our November athlete of the month is Thelma!!!!! It has been awesome watching her grow as an athlete and her and her husband welcoming their first child soon! 

What makes you, you?

I am a very strong-willed, caring person who tends to put those I care about before myself.

Describe your experience at CFNC.

My experience at CFNC has been excellent. The people and trainers are very welcoming and help push you to continue to grow. With me being pregnant majority of my CrossFit experience, the trainers have been great with helping me adapt my physical routine to ensure a healthy pregnancy.

What are your major life goals?

Have a happy and healthy family and marriage
Continue to have a successful career
Continue to invest in health, mentally and physically

What are your 3 major CrossFit goals?

Stay Active
Join a caring community
Get stronger, mentally and physically

What has been your favorite CrossFit moment so far?

Being able to workout alongside my husband again and meet new people who support and push me to keep going!

What has been your favorite CrossFit WOD and why?

Since I am pregnant it is hard to select a favorite WOD since I modify a lot. But, my favorite workouts are partner workouts. I joined to spend more time with my husband as well as grow with my fitness. So, being able to do both at the same time is perfect!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years, I would like to have advanced in my career. Have a healthy and happy 5 year old. If Grayson and I are lucky we would like to expand our family and have one more child.

What is your favorite cheat meal?

Mexican ������ give me all the chips and queso

What is the most challenging aspect of CrossFit?

Knowing your limits, mentally and physically. When I joined CrossFit I immediately found out we were expecting a baby boy. Knowing physically when you should stop and mentally being okay with that.

What advice would you give to someone new to CrossFit?

Be open to the coaches ������coaching������ you and implement what they are saying. Stay with it & don������t give up!
