From Burnout to Breakthrough: How Jordon Found His Fit at CFNC
When Jordon Gruber first joined CFNC in June 2023, he was looking for more than just another place to sweat. At 37 years old, working in sales and juggling family life, he wanted a gym that actually worked for him.
“I was working out at Burn Boot Camp,” Jordon shared, “but I struggled with workouts that didn’t seem to be built for me.”
That all changed when he walked through the doors at CFNC. From day one, Coach Dave made sure Jordon had a plan. “Dave took me under his wing, taught me everything, and made sure I had a plan for the workouts those first few weeks. That support made all the difference.”
Slowly but surely, the workouts turned into something Jordon genuinely looked forward to. “Over time, you just get absorbed by the gym and it becomes something you really look forward to,” he said.
For Jordon, the biggest pride point has been seeing his progress in measurable ways: improving scores, building consistency, and adding structure to his daily routine. “I like the discipline it has added to my life,” he explained.
But the impact hasn’t stopped with him. His boys are now excited about fitness, asking to work out with him and sharing in the joy of being active. “That’s been one of the best parts—seeing them get into it too.”
When asked what advice he’d give someone on the fence, Jordon doesn’t hesitate:
“This is a great community to be a part of. The workouts are always fresh and challenging. You’ve got to stick around for at least three months to really feel it click.”
Now, Jordon isn’t just stronger in the gym—he’s a better version of himself at work, at home, and as a role model for his kids.
At CFNC, it’s not just about lifting weights—it’s about lifting each other up.
